When we say that you will NEVER guess what model, Hanne Gaby Odiele, carries around in her purse, we mean NEVER. We caught up with the trendsetter during New York Fashion Week and got to find out everything from her favorite restaurants and music, to who she would LOVE to walk for and even what styles she’s gearing up to wear for Fall. What trends or pieces are you most excited to wear for Fall? Shape. It’s all about shape. Big shapes, crazy shapes. Oh! and some good color-blocking.
What’s the most random thing in your bag right now? It’s so random. This [orange piece of cellophane] has been in there forever. I just like it.
What’s your favorite restaurant in NYC? Souen downtown and Café El Portal on Elizabeth Street. If you go there a lot, they give you to go cups for margaritas.
How do you unwind during Fashion Week? I go out and party with my friends.
What’s on your iPod right now? I’m listening to Grimes on repeat.
If you could walk for anyone who would it be? I think it would be my parents. They are always asking and want to see me walk so that would be nice. I don’t really care about celebrities.
