Walk into Macys, Saks Fifth Avenue and H&M, and you’ll find clothing from Fashion Star winner Kara Laricks.
She wowed the judges with her innovative and fashion forward designs, and she herself was wowed when Coco Rocha was seen in the Saks ads wearing her clothing, and when she flew to Stockholm to shoot all her campaigns and Joan Smalls was one of the models she worked with. We talked to Kara and Macys buyer Caprice Willard about how Kara became NBC’s first Fashion Star. —Renee Lucas
