Opening Ceremony took the celebration to the streets, with designers Proenza Schouler and Alexander Wang, who had their vans stocked and ready to shop, complete with music blaring from overhead speakers. Meanwhile the Rodarte sisters opted for a vintage convertible to show off their goods. Inside the store, every hour on the hour shoppers and staff members alike busted a move—everyone had to Vogue.
Close by, Sienna Miller was the big draw at Intermix, where the line stretched around the block. Many sad fans were turned away when they realized the party was an invite/list situation. But the party had to go on, and lucky Soho was filled with one event after another, with store after store drawing crowds. Anna Wintour even made an appearance! Cassie—the other half of DJ duo of Harley (Viera Newton) and Cassie—was the evening’s scheduled musical entertainment, as her model cohourt was off at Tom Binns, dripping in gems. Harley’s friend Mischa Barton was on hand to help celebrate at their Perry Street boutique. Tom Binns’ designer lady called the evening “Fashion Week all in one night,” and she just can’t wait for Modelinia to meet her in Paris to view the new collection. Neither can we! ~ Fabiana Santana
