During her career, Twiggy has regularly graced the world with beautiful images as a model, but that’s not her only contribution. She’s a singer as well, having released a set of singles in the 1970s, including the Top 20 hit, Here I Go Again!
After a few years away from the music industry, Twiggy’s bringing back her vocal skills, to release a recording of romantic hits. But don’t dare call this a new venture. “I haven’t done this for quite a while, so people forget, and there’s no reason why they should remember, it’s my life,” she said. “I’ve been very visible doing other things, but you don’t want people to think ‘Oh, now Twiggy’s doing an album’, because I’m actually going back into what I’ve done since 1970.”
The new album will be titled Romantically Yours, and is set to hit the world on November 21st. It will feature new recordings of a selection of her favorite songs including Neil Young’s Only Love Can Break Your Heart and Waterloo Sunset by The Kinks, along with collaborations with Bryan Adams, Richard Marx, and the model’s daughter Carly!
