This post needs to begin with a bit of an explanation.
For those of you who don’t know what UFC stands for—which in the fashion and model crowd we’re assuming is a fair amount of people—then read on. The Ultimate Fighting Championship is a sports organization for mixed martial arts, which is a combat sport that incorporates a wide variety of striking and grappling techniques. Think boxing mixed with wrestling. Got it?
So just why are we writing about the UFC on a model site? Because Heidi Mount’s a fan, that’s why. Over the holidays, Heidi trekked home to Utah to spend time with her family and in between marveling at the size of the gym and getting her teeth cleaned, she decided to Tweet about watching the Rashad Evans versus Thiago Silva fight at a bar. And it seems like she’s a legit fan, rooting for the former who won by unanimous decision. The UFC just got that much cooler.
Wonder how she’ll feel about the upcoming Georges St. Pierre versus Dan Hardy fight in March?
