First Look! Adriana Lima's DKNY Spring 2012 Campaign

Days before the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show, Adriana Lima jetted off to Haiti to shoot the DKNY Spring 2012 campaign with Russell James and now we’ve got a peek at the results.

The designer’s spring collection was inspired by Haiti - particularly the black-and-white graphic prints by Haitian artist, Philippe Dodard - so it makes sense that the campaign was shot there. The first few photos of the campaign were shot in the southern Haiti town of Jacmel inside the Hotel Florita, and feature a version of Adriana we haven’t seen in awhile. We’re so used to her gracing every and any Victoria’s Secret ad with her signature sultry pout and come-hither eyes that we almost didn’t recognize her in these prints!  ”I have never worked with [Adriana] before, and I am totally in love with her,” Donna Karan told WWD, “She shows the heart and soul of Haiti.”

This is definitely a softer side of Adriana that we can only hope to see more of in future campaigns to come!
