Along with today’s new campaign images come a few new magazine issues for the summer months.
For August, British Vogue chose Sasha Pivovarova as their cover girl in more pink. (Didn’t we just say it was here to stay?) Patrick Demarchelier caught the beauty with a perfect pout, then took a world tour, snapping Anna Jagodzinska for the editorial “New York,” Karlie Kloss in “London,” Lily Donaldson in “Paris,” and Sasha with Freja Beha Erichsen in “Milan.”
In other Vogue news, Edita Vilkeviciute poses for the August ‘09 cover of Vogue Deutsch dressed in Louis Vuitton. If anyone could pull of the excess of red and black, it’s certainly Edita.
Anna Selezneva snagged a solo cover, of Chinese Vogue for July ‘09, shot by Camilla Akrans, and its ethereal feel continues on the inside editorial, “Enchanting Hawaii.”
To compliment the amazing cover, there’s a model channeling a supermodel inside, as Egle Tvirbutaite goes pure Twiggy in “Lashing Out,” shot by Nicolas Moore.
Last but clearly not least of the international Vogues, is Vogue Italia, with supermodel Kristen McMenamy on the July cover. The dramatic image by Steven Meisel really speaks for itself. Inside, the magazine names her The Legend, and follows with poses that back it up. Mario Sorrenti captures the supermodels—Helena Christensen, Eva Herzigova, Naomi Campbell, and Christy Turlington.
And finally, Tanya Dziahileva and Eric Guillemain are reunited for the July ‘09 cover of Deutsch. Given their history working together, it’s really not surprising that the duo have the ability to create such stunning and thought-provoking images. Â
