Because we’re pretty sure that reporting on Kate Moss‘ wedding never gets old, we’re continuing the supermodel “gypsy-inspired” nuptial obsession!
In addition to the written feature and photo album for Vogue’s September issue, Kate sat down with the glossy to discuss her feelings leading up to the big day. “When I put the dress on, I’m really happy. I forget about everything, it all goes away,” she explained. As it turns out, the wedding dress was magical for not only Kate, but also the designer, John Galliano. “She dared me to be John Galliano again,” he said. “I couldn’t pick up a pencil. It’s been my creative rehab.”
Leave it to a supermodel to invoke such emotion before she even walked down the aisle.
As for the general desired sentiment of the wedding, Kate explains her motivation: “I wanted it to be dreamy you know, soft focus. It’s rock and roll Great Gatsby.” Thanks to a gaggle of bridesmaids and little children, an epic location, and that lighting that just seems to follow her around, Kate’s wedding turned out to be exactly the rock and roll fairy tale she was anticipating.
