Forget the rest of the parties and events going on last night, Vladimir Restoin Roitfeld and Andy Valmorbida’s gallery opening for RETNA: The Hallelujah World Tour was the place to be. Fashion gurus and party goers packed themselves into a large warehouse gallery space in Soho where the walls were covered in black and white graffiti-esque prints and canvases. And although there seemed to be little commentary on the surrounding works of art, there was definitely no shortage of conversation. Amidst the crowd of editors and party photographers, Modelinia spotted Irina Lazareanu sharing a laugh with friends dressed in her trademark androgynous look of baggy trousers, a loose fitting oxford and broken in converse. As always, Irina was a refreshing look of casual chic surrounded by uber mini-skirts and sky-high stilettos. We can’t wait to see what her next ensemble is this week. And what would a Fashion Week party be without an original super model like Frederique van der Wal in attendance? A perfect way to end day one of New York Fashion Week. ~ Sonia Evers
