From Starbucks to Old Hollywood Glamour

Looks like another designer has fallen under the spell of Lara Stone.

It was just a month ago that she starred in “Fitting Room Follies” for Karl Lagerfeld, and now she’s in the Fall ‘09 campaign for Dean Caten and Dan Caten’s Dsquared2 line. Mert Alas and Marcus Piggott caught Lara alongside her male-model dates in a total paparazzi-style shot. She gives off the perfect amount of glare all while keeping the look glamorous and vintage, like Marilyn Monroe meets Jean Harlow.

Interestingly enough, this is the campaign where the designers had models walk down the runway sipping Starbucks and checking their BlackBerrys. Can’t say we necessarily expected this type of old Hollywood elegance as a theme, but we’re loving the transition from runway to campaign.
