
The much talked about Art issue from W magazine is finally hitting newsstands, and Linda Evangelista commandeers the cover with such determination. Pierpaolo Ferrari captured the supermodel for the November 2009 issue, embodying corporate America standing in front of an NYU building, while holding a cardboard sign. Statement much?
Inside the art focus continues, with features from Juergen Teller, R. Crumb, Philip-Lorca diCorcia, Roni Horn, and more, while Italian artist Maurizio Cattelan chose to depict Linda in two drastically different roles: that of a saint and a sinner. “At the end, she was so tuned-in that all she needed were a couple of words and she knew what we wanted.” Well she is a supermodel, after all.
