Presentations have the tendency to feel a bit odd. They are less formal than actual runway shows, but yet can be awkward and anticlimactic. Think of it as inspecting mannequins closely, except that the mannequins are alive and have to stand in one position for up to two hours. There was none of this at Peter Som’s collection. Instead, models gabbed, joked around, and engaged in lively conversation. We even saw the usually straight-faced and aristocratic-looking Alice Gibb and Pernille Moeller crack a few smiles. That’s the way to end Fashion Week. ~ Alia Mansoori
