Gisele Bündchen has already been transformed into a green superhero for AOL’s new webisode “GiGi and the Green Team,” devoted her site to all things environmentally friendly, and put her time into the Agua Limpia (clean water) project, working to bring the life and vegetation back to the river bands near her home in Brazil.
The U.N. has taken notice of her dedication to saving the planet and has named her U.N. Goodwill Ambassador. “I have been working on environmental issues for a long time and agreed to become a goodwill ambassador to be part of a global and far-reaching organization,” said Gisele. “Mother Earth is our fundamental life-support system, and by becoming aware and responsible now, we can assist in preserving the planet.”
