Gisele Ushers in a New Vogue Paris

With the announcement of a new editor in chief for Vogue Paris came the inevitable question of who would take the honor of the premiere cover. And as reported, Gisele Bündchen is helping Emmanuelle Alt usher in a brand new era of Vogue Paris!

The April 2011 issue features Gisele in St. Barts, as shot by Inez van Lamsweerde & Vinoodh Matatin. Dressed in a crisp white Dolce & Gabbana dress, Gisele emanates both the fresh rebirth of the magazine and her undeniable energy as a supermodel. Given the history of the glossy’s appreciation for models, it will be interesting to watch over the coming months to see just how Emmanuelle translates her vision into fresh faces and established muses, especially given her choice of Gisele.
