We can always expect a little peculiarity when it comes to Grey Ant, so we weren’t shocked when we saw that the brand’s Spring 2011 show was being held at the Cassina furniture store on the Upper East Side. Upon entering, we made our way down the stairs into a room that was covered in brown parchment paper, excited to see the re-launch the Grey Ant Collection. Unsure of what to expect, we took our seats ready to see what designer Grant Krajecki had in store. Uniquely constructed dresses and pants marched through the room to the sounds of the Talking Heads, and floral motifs were seen throughout each of the looks, tying the otherwise daring and unusual collection together. We can already imagine edgy girls like Freja Beha Erichsen and Irina Lazareanu rocking these looks next spring. ~ Sonia Evers
