Guilt Free with Liz Hurley

Snacking like a supermodel just got easier. In addition to posing as the face of Estée Lauder, Elizabeth Hurley has added “farmer” to her résumé. The model bought a 400-acre farm in Gloucestershire about five years ago and raises a rare breed of Gloucester cattle. She put the farm under conversion; today it has full organic status and she sells the meat to butchers and restaurants in the area.

And now she’s launching her own line of organic snack bars and beef jerky. Elizabeth Hurley’s Guilt Free Snacks will debut their first two products today at Harrods in London with plans to release a line of crisps, chocolate, and other yummy treats—all under 100 calories—later in the year. The British beauty learned to love beef jerky while living in Canada, where it’s eaten like candy. Her version is made from air-dried strips of organic silverside and is high in protein and low in fat. The fruit bars come in two initial flavors—Strawberry & Cherry and Orange & Cranberry—and the first oat bars are available in Banana & Chocolate and Orange & Chocolate.

All of the products are organic and certified by the Soil Association with some of the ingredients even coming straight off Liz’s farm. And we love the cute packaging: It features a cartoon figure of Liz in a miniskirt and pink Wellies!
