Though traffic was tragic due to the VMAs, host Freida Pinto welcomed guests like Oluchi Onweagba and Jennifer Esposito, who confessed she has a major girl crush on Kate Moss.
Glowing from his WWD cover, which featured Chanel Iman in his design, Jason Wu arrived with Kathryn Neale Shaffer. “Kathryn introduced me to Chanel,” said Jason, who’s now BFF with the model. “Chanel doesn’t just wear the clothes. I was watching the video today and she wasn’t just wearing the clothes, she was modeling. I love that. She models.” Kathryn chimed in, “In an old-world way, in the most fabulous way.” Jason agreed: “Very much in the spirit of couture. She was one of the stars of the show.”
Among the brilliant diamonds, Oluchi, a vision in Rachel Roy, had her own reason to shine even brighter, as she just moved into her new Gramercy Park apartment. “I have to brag about my home right now! My apartment is my favorite place! I go in and I don’t want to leave.”
