Old habits die hard, so its no wonder that Jordache has fallen back on its longtime relationship with elite supermodel, entrepreneur, and famed TV personality Heidi Klum for their biggest advertising campaign to date!
Following a Jordache and Heidi capsule collection nearly five years ago, the dynamic duo is at it again, this time joining forces in an all-new advertising campaign for Jordache’s recent brand expansion into Wal-Mart stores. Shot by photographer, director, and longtime Heidi collaborator, Rankin, the first print ad for the lower-priced line features the Project Runway host in four separate looks from the collection- a red hot denim pair and classic white tee to start- while dancing along to a sequence choreographed by Fox’s “So You Think You Can Dance” star judge and contributing choreographer, Mia Michaels.
“We are thrilled to be working with Heidi Klum once again,” said Liz Berlinger, President of Jordache, in a recent press release. “Heidi is beautiful, and incredibly talented, with a vivacious personality - she is a great fit for Jordache. She represents the heart of Jordache - iconic fashion, family values, approachable style and grace.”
Falling back on its 1970’s heritage, Jordache cast the iconic model in a modern day dance flick inspired by the free-spirited disco era in which the brand was born. Showing off her innumerable talents, Heidi grooved in 5-inch heels to an updated 70’s era soundtrack from 10 in the morning until midnight for the campaign shoot. If that weren’t impressive enough though, we learned that the multitasking superstar did it all with a severely broken toe- just further proof that Heidi is the hardest working model in the business!
“We had such a positive experience working together on the last campaign and look forward to Heidi as the face of Jordache for our jeans line,” added Berlinger. “We are excited to be able to provide our customers with the latest styles and colors of jeans, at great prices.”
The multifaceted campaign, which will include both print ads and a national TV commercial for the first time in 20 years, will run starting in mid August. We plan to make like Heidi later this month though, by slipping into a pair of Jordache’s updated denim looks when the collection officially hits Wal-Mart stores!
