A peek at the first collection by the brand new Ports 1961 designer was not the only exciting moment awaiting fashion insiders on day two of Fashion Week. While many were anxious to see just what Fiona Cibani - sister to former designer for the brand, Tia - would come up with, we were also thrilled about the return of a runway master. As reported by Modelinia, Freja Beha Erichsen opened the show in an amazing dune colored utilitarian jacket, followed by a stellar lineup of girls including Magdalena Frackowiak, Tao Okamoto, Lindsay Ellingson, and Sedene Blake. Though it’s been a few years - three to be exact, Hilary Rhoda made her runway return, strutting down the Ports 1961 catwalk as if not a day had passed since her last turn down the runway, complete with a headful of teased curls. Between eye-popping colors like amethyst, emerald, and sapphire, juxtaposed with more neutral hues like dune and stone, we were mesmerized by not only the transformation of the brand, but also Hilary’s runway return. ~ Bianca Posterli
