While Heidi Klum celebrated her new cover of City magazine upstairs at The Lambs Club, the downstairs area was taken over by more than a few fashionable individuals. During Fashion Week, it’s hardly a coincidence for those in the industry to congregate in the same location - and given the most recent appearances at The Lambs Club, the locale is clearly this season’s must visit. On Wednesday night, a selection of the dinner guests at separate tables in the restaurant included not only Heidi, but also Naomi Campbell, Devon Aoki, and David Rabin. Discussion between Devon and David turned to Valentino’s Fashion’s Night Out event - which will include a one-table charity poker tournament - and before anyone realized, a deck of cards were on the table and the two were practicing for the game!
Though the levels of talent range and a competitive spirit will undoubtedly appear, the motives behind the game are pure. On Friday night, Valentino plans to open his Madison Avenue store from 7-10 pm for the good of others. In the spirit of charity, Devon Aoki, Derek Blasberg, Judah Friedlander, Maggie Grace, Zani Gugelmann, Richard Johnson, Molly Sims, Carlos Souza, Sam Talbot, Kate Walsh, and David Rabin, co-owner of The Lambs Club, will compete to earn money for the charity of their choice.
