On Tuesday night, some of the industry’s coolest crowd came together to support the exclusive partnership between Patti Hansen’s handbag line Hung On U and Barney’s New York. The event included a number of one-of-a-kind celebrity designed bags by Keith Richards (Patti’s hubby), Donna Karan, Joe Zee, Diane Von Furstenberg and many more which are all currently available for auction until October 12th. Partial proceeds from the bags go toward the non-profit organization, the Epidermolysis Bullosa Medical Research Foundation for Children, a charity deeply supported by Hung On U founders, Patti, Molly Madden, and Deb Koppel.
Along with former models Rebecca Romijn and Shaun Casey, Patti’s rock-and-roll-chic model daughters Theodora and Alexandra Richards came out to support and enjoy the launch of their Mom’s trendy handbags inspired by her days partying at Studio 54. “[The bags] are easy, ready to go bags that you can dress up or down,” said Alexandra who’s been known to throw a bathing suit in the yellow nylon version whenever she hits the beach.
