Iconic Chanel Returns

Reconciliations are in the air.

After serving as the muse for Chanel during the 1980s, Inès de la Fressange and Karl Lagerfeld had a bit of a falling out due to her decision to pose as Marianne, the symbol of France, but it seems that hard feelings have been put aside - just in time for Paris Fashion Week.

The icon will strut down the Chanel runway on October 5th, along with Karl’s requisite cast of model muses! “She is beyond stunning,” Lagerfeld said. “Also, she is the Parisienne.”

But that’s not all. Karl personally requested that she also pose for the Spring 2011 campaign, along with Freja Beha Erichsen and Stella Tennant, which will shoot in the south of France!

With a campaign and runway presence for Chanel this season, one can only hope this means future projects for the designer and his model muse.
