Some people were excited about the appearance of Amar’e Stoudemire at the Tommy Hilfiger show, but we were in model la-la land. By popping into the backstage, we were afforded the opportunity to finally talk to Daphne Groeneveld at length, and believe us when we say, this girl is genuine. There’s a certain impression she gives off when you chat with her in person: a mix of Karlie Kloss‘ unending enthusiasm for her job paired with Coco Rocha’s professionalism. But one thing’s an absolute fact. If today was any indication as to her future in fashion, it’s clear that she’ll become a steady favorite, thanks in large part to her personality.

In addition the beauty that is Daphne, Tommy secured a staggeringly impressive cast, as per usual, including Jacquelyn Jablonski, Fei Fei Sun, Mirte Maas, and Jourdan Dunn for his collection inspired by the 1970s rock star girlfriend. Though Jourdan’s pleased to be continuing with her runway appearances, she’s quick to admit that she’s missing her son and highly anticipates their daily phone conversations. While Jourdan is out dominating the catwalks in New York, her mom is caring for the little boy at home. Fellow model mom Arizona Muse was holding herself with a major air of maturity, thanks in large part to her Anna Wintour approval rating, we’re sure. ~ Bianca Posterli
