Inside a Kaleidoscope with Abbey Lee Kershaw

Abbey Lee Kershaw takes us down a psychedelic road in these trippy videos by Elle Muliarchyk for the cult jewelry line Mania Mania. Along with serving as the muse to the brand, Abbey Lee is the face of their campaign for the second time in a row, and this time she and the brand bring with them the limited edition “Abbey Lee” ring. A fantastical cage ring with a chunky, amethyst crystal in the center reminiscent of the model’s own unique, bohemian sense of style.

The first video features Abbey Lee in a room transformed into a real life Kaleidoscope where she eerily poses in awe-inspiring ways to showcase the mystical jewelry. The second video shows Abbey Lee whirling and twirling about a pinky-orange lit room with pieces of the collection draped on her body. “Our inspiration was the concept and technique of Exquisite Corpse - a Dada game when three people take turns in drawing parts of the body of an imaginary creature,” remarked film director Elle Muliarchyk, “Hence [...] the motif of ‘3′. We built a real Kaleidoscope whose 3 simple elements - 3 mirrors facing each other - create this infinite universe.” While Abbey Lee was already the face of Mania Mania, Muliarchyk was particularly inspired by her transformative abilities, a necessity for creating an experimental film focused on metamorphism.

We’re quite transfixed with Abbey Lee in these videos and we’re not sure if it’s because of our love for all things Abbey Lee or the impact of the swirling Kaleidoscope, but regardless of the reason we’re officially hooked on Mania Mania in every aspect.
