Cindy Crawford’s already decorated homes with her home and bedding creations for JCPenney, but now she’s expanding into jewelry with a 40-piece collection, called One Kiss. The line, which includes earrings, rings, and chains, was inspired by her own personal collection that she’s accumulated over the years.
“I wanted the designers to see who I am, not as a model or as ‘public Cindy,’ but me as a person,” Cindy said. “I live on the beach and spend much of my time barefoot and in jeans. So that’s where we started, with them seeing items in my life that had nothing to do with me, the public figure. And I appreciated that they wanted to do it my way. It made the line more organic.”
She settled on a single symbol to carry through the collection—the henna symbol for “kiss”—but the important thing to note is that this kiss could be any sort, from a mother, friend, lover, etc. This April, you’ll be able to purchase accessories à la Cindy, which are priced between $79 and $299.
