Elle Macpherson already branched out into the design world to create her own lingerie line, Elle Macpherson Intimates, but now she’s turned it into a family affair. She recently created a sweater, called the Frangipani, for her brother and sister-in-law’s clothing line, Banjo & Matilda. It retails for $499; it’s 100% cashmere and comes in both gray and blue, with three little flowers on one wrist and “Love & Light” written on the opposite shoulder.
But that didn’t keep her from putting out the newest line for her intimates collection and showing it off. She shared her story of its creation, beginning with her modeling experience in Paris, saying, “I wanted that lingerie so much. It was beautiful, but it wasn’t comfortable! I’m one that says, ‘Why is it that we say we dress in our normal clothes, but forget what we wear underneath?’ Isn’t that as important? It’s part of the whole design process.” Elle even teaches boys how to shop for their girlfriends and shows off her favorite pieces from the line, all while looking beyond adorable in a bold gold-sparkle blazer.
