Supermodels are taking to acting in fast numbers. Chanel Iman already spoke about her desire to act; Brooklyn Decker’s making a guest appearance on Royal Pains; Elle Macpherson will star in The Beautiful Life; Noot Seear will be in the new Twilight movie; and Gemma Ward’s already been in The Black Balloon, promoted The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus at Cannes, and has a few more projects lined up.
But up next is Riley Keough, who is set to work with Kristen Stewart and Dakota Fanning on The Runaways, a film set in the ’70s about a group of stray girls who form a band and find fame. Kristen plays Joan Jett, while Dakota will be portraying Cherie Currie. Riley’s not on the IMDB cast list yet, but surely that’ll only be true for a matter of time.
