Here at Modelinia, we flip through pages of editorials, look at countless campaign images, and head behind the scenes to photoshoots. But what we’ve found is that very few videos are able to capture the feeling and emotion behind what it’s really like to hang out on set and spend time with a crew for multiple days.
But this video from Max Studio does just that. In the behind the scenes look at their Spring 2010 photoshoot, models Masha and Gana hop onto one of those teeny tiny planes headed to St. Barths for a few days of blue skies, clear water, and white sand, all in the name of fashion and posing.
What’s interesting about this video is all the little in-between moments. Previewing the shots on computer, the traveling it takes to get to exotic destinations, checking Blackberries consistently, lunching with photographers and assistants, hanging out with a lone turtle, and then celebrating once the ideal shots have been achieved. If you’ve ever wanted to know just what happens on a photoshoot, here’s the best example.
