Did you think the Vogue May 2009 issue obsession was over? Please.
The behind-the-scenes video is up, taking readers into hair and makeup with the models to discuss the making of the iconic issue. “Celebrating models is so special,” says Isabeli Fontana, “’cause normally now it’s all the actresses coming up in our business!”
Pay attention for quick shots of the rack of clothes, including those stunning Rodarte dresses, as well as makeup artist Pat McGrath making the girls even more stunning than they already are. “For me it felt like the first day back at school!” said Raquel Zimmermann of the shoot. She admits her “special feelings” for Steven Meisel, as he’s the one who really pushed her career. But Isabeli really sums up the experience perfectly, saying, “[Vogue] is the best thing you could always do. It’s the bible of the historical world of fashion.”
