One of the coolest and hippest stores open late at night for your perusal—it’s kind of every girl’s dream isn’t it? Now add lots of vintage designer clothes, cocktails, and Irina Lazareanu to the equation and you’re in fashion heaven. Irina hosted a party last night at Soho vintage mecca What Goes Around Comes Around. Folks were dressed in their funkiest garbs, including Daisy Lowe, who wore red plaid high-top sneakers to match her slouchy quilted Chanel purse.
Partygoers couldn’t keep their hands off the clothes, and the staff was more than happy to oblige their vintage fantasies. Dreams came to life when models, dressed in some of the store’s most popular pieces, got on a stage and transformed into real-life mannequins.
Irina arrived fashionably late, but immediately got into party mode by dancing to DJ Josh Madden’s very danceable selections. “This is my favorite store in the world!” she declared, while grooving along. She was wearing a simple black tank and a long flowing ivory skirt with her new cropped do.
Irina may have the “bad girl” look that some girls strive for, but who does she look up to as style icons? “Mischa [Barton], of course. Kate [Moss], Carine [Roitfeld].” It certainly makes sense that these would be some of Irina’s influences since they each have distinct looks of their own.
While Irina had a great time hosting and partying last night, there’s still more work ahead. Irina told us, “After Fashion Week in New York, it’s off to Paris, Milan, everywhere.” ~ Nikki Martinez
