Irina Takes Her Place on the Big Screen

These days, it’s just not enough for models to appear in the pages of magazines and on the runways. And rightfully so. These girls have varied interests and desires, so why not reach for their dreams?

Kate Moss is a fashion designer, Lily Cole has become an actress, Cindy Crawford has home goods’ lines, and Sasha Pivovarova is an artist, just to name a few.

Now Irina Lazareanu joins the list of model turned actress, as she’s just earned the lead role in Spike Lee’s new movie, a romantic comedy. She flew to New York especially for the audition and of course landed it immediately. Add that to Agyness Deyn’s appearance in Powder and the models will be edging out actresses on the big screen.
