Friday’s Women’s Wear Daily highlighted the best “do-it-yourself” beauty brands, and as engrossing as the article was, we were more focused on the imagery that was paired with the article.
The above snap features Gucci Westman, Revlon’s Global Artistic Director, applying the brand’s new lip palette, Bordeaux in the Snow, on Anne Vyalitsyna. But here’s where it gets interesting. Said palette is set to appear in stores this fall, leading us to speculate Anne V’s role in this situation.
From her experience across both the music world - thanks to roles in boyfriend Adam Levine’s music videos and her moment on the red carpet with Lady Gaga - and fashion world, it’s hardly shocking that she’d be snapped with Gucci in the makeup chair. But the choice of product and timing is just too perfect to ignore.
