Just yesterday Nick Knight and Kate Moss spent time together at the Somerset House, snapping pictures for the 30th anniversary issue of i-D, a major undertaking that Nick’s been streaming live for the world to enjoy on SHOWstudio.
But it seems that the shoot was even more major than anyone originally realized. Nick let it slip that he shot the super for a cover of the magazine, explaining, “She came down to Somerset House today and in front of a huge crowd of people, did exactly what she does brilliantly—which is model for the cover of i-D and for SHOWstudio.” Presumably this cover shot is for the celebratory issue—and we can’t really think of anyone who’s better suited for it.
“It’s never hard to come up with anything new for Kate,” said Nick. “It’s a conversation that keeps on going. She’s always got something fascinating to say and I’m always very excited to meet her and to see her again. So no, I never tire of photographing her.” And we never tire of seeing her.
