Monique Lhuillier describes her Spring 2011 collection as being in “a state of euphoria,” and euphoria is exactly what kind of state we were in after seeing it come down the runway Monday at Lincoln Center. Gowns made up of breathtaking fabrics like chiffon and organza had the audience mesmerized as they gracefully glided down the runway. And who better to don such incredible designs than some of Fashion Week’s favorite faces: Bregje Heinen, Kelsey Van Mook, Lisanne de Jong, and Iris Strubegger were only a few of the notable names to strut Lhuillier’s runway. If there was ever going to be an entire collection worn to the Academy Awards, Monique Lhuillier’s spring collection would be the one. ~ Sonia Evers
