Top model Jacquetta Wheeler may not be of royal blood, but we’d say her wedding was fit for the Queen regardless! That’s actually not a stretch either, as the statuesque beauty just recently wed beau James Allsopp among some of the best views of the English countryside surrounding the 15th century Chilham Castle.
Jacquetta, whose stunning features famously captured the eye of photographer Mario Testino when she was only 15-years-old, enlisted designer, and personal friend, Alice Temperley to create her romantic grown.
“She wanted a really soft, delicate dress,” the designer told Vogue magazine, who reported on the fairytale event in their latest issue.
The exquisite appliquéd tulle dress worn by the once named “Model of the Millennium,” reportedly took ten Mumbai embroiderers a month to produce, and included a delicate bolero and trailing veil with artwork featuring ‘forget-me-nots,’ dog roses, and “Wheeler wheels” from around the family estate.

“It was the happiest night of my life indeed,” said the British beauty on her blog. “I loved my dress that Alice made for me more than anything else (apart from my husband!), I could have floated around in it for weeks. I keep dreaming I am still in it! And of course, having all the people I love most in one place was beyond special.”
In her blog, the blushing bride also revealed details from the special day that would have made even Cinderella green with envy. Aside from hiring the company who handled the firework displays for the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee celebrations for their own nighttime spectacular, the newlyweds got to dance away to the “rocking band,” The Soul Jets,” in a Moroccan-themed setting.
As Jacquetta aptly put it, “what more could I ask for?”
