Fashion editors and insiders aren’t the only ones sitting front row to take in all the runway action during Fashion Week. Models are guests of honor, too! Fresh off her Sports Illustrated promo tour, Modelinia heard that Julie Henderson would be making the rounds and we just had to get a model take on the shows and got Julie to guest blog for us!
Being a fan of Yigal, I was so excited to learn I would be covering this show! I love how simple but very sexy his clothes can be. They fit women like a glove and do nothing but flatter their bodies. For his Fall 2010 collection he brought out some yummy chunky knits with leather pants. His cocktail dresses were timeless with very basic fronts, but don’t let that mislead you—they were anything but basic with fun, cool cutouts on shoulders and at the back. I always love the “boyfriend” look, and Yigal’s signature use of jersey always gives the comfort that either sex can appreciate. Look 49 would be something I would love to wear for the Oscar Vanity Fair party: elegant, fun and completely sexy. Bravo, Yigal!
