Road rallies and models don’t usually go together.
But this past weekend the Hamptons and Mercedes-Benz proved otherwise, hosting the Hamptons Pursuits Road Rallye, a scavenger hunt from Bridgehampton to Montauk followed by a barbecue at Kalbacher’s Auto and an auction of classic cars.
And Julie Henderson tried her hardest to make it on time, but the rain that has plagued the city for most of the summer foiled her plans. Despite that, she fell in love with a car and decided to bid on a vintage E Class Mercedes-Benz online, sadly losing out to a gentleman. It’s all for a good cause though, as the benefits all went to the Retreat, an organization that supports victims of domestic abuse on Long Island. Julie’s not the only model to support the cause, though: Jessica Stam devotes her time to the charity as well.
