Hey Models of the Runway followers! It’s Kalyn here to give you the latest on Episode 10. This week’s episode took us on a trip around the world!
The challenge was to design something for Michael Kors’ favorite travel destinations. The locations included Greece, Saint-Tropez, Palm Beach, Santa Fe, Aspen, New York, and Hollywood. When Michael said that Nicholas’ design looked more like a costume from the movie Grease than the location and was sent home, Kojii, his model, thought she would be packing her bags. At model elimination though, she was chosen by Logan, and Celine was the last model standing. Celine was such a ray of sunshine and we all hated to see her go. Celine’s departure sparked the realization that competition was on the rise between the models. By the looks on the model’s faces, one could tell that tension and hints of jealousy were in the air.
Irina was the winning designer this week with her gorgeous Aspen creation, and I was thrilled to be paired with her. I was excited to be the model chosen for the Paige Denim shoot as well, which was highlighted on the show. Also, this week we attended a burlesque dance class, where it was obvious that some had danced before and others needed a little more practice. It was all in good fun, though, and quite the little workout!
Next week it looks as though drama is flaring and I might even get caught in the crossfire! Don’t miss it!
