It’s Kalyn here with a look at Episode 6 of Models of the Runway
There was some “movie magic” for Project Runway and Models of the Runway fans this week…an exciting challenge for both the designers and the models alike. The designers had to create an outfit that was specific to the movie genre they chose, and viewers this week saw everything from film noir, to Western, to sci-fi to period pieces.
Celine was paired with winning designer Nicholas, and his “ice queen look” won over the judges. Poor Celine. Her hair had to be coated with a sugar solution and she was stuck with glitter on her face all day. After that grueling ordeal with hair and makeup, she deserved to win! Ra’mon was kicked off with his “sci-fi green lizard” outfit, so Vanessa was worried—again—about being eliminated.
The models thought they had all the pairings figured out, but Project Runway switched it up. Both the designers and models were shocked when elimination was changed this week. Heidi said it was getting too boring, and designers were staying safe, so they were forced to pick new models for the next challenge. Vanessa was relieved when she got picked, and the final two on the runway were Fatma and Kojii, and designer Louise was left to choose. Since she worked with Fatma the previous week, she had no choice but to pick Kojii. So Fatma packed her bags and said her goodbyes.
Coverage of this episode wouldn’t be complete without mentioning the Logan Diaries. With fewer designers and not much interaction with males in the model house, Logan was the eye candy and hot topic of conversation among many of the models…and designers, too!
The drama continues…and the moral of Episode 6 is that just when the models think they’ve got it figured out, Project Runway rules change, leaving no model safe from elimination! For more unexpected twists, turns, and surprises, tune in next week!
