Even with her first walk down the Victoria’s Secret runway just a few days away, model Karlie Kloss took time to support the Elizabeth Glaser Pediatric Aids Foundation this past weekend.
Karlie, along with Blue Bloods star Bridget Moynahan, actor Kyle MacLachlan, and former NFL linebacker Dhani Jones participated in “Journey Around Africa”, the 18th annual Elizabeth Glaser Pediatric Aids Foundation “Kids4Kids” Family Carnival held at Skylight Studios in SoHo.
Karlie, who has clearly been around many designers, was able to channel her inner-artist and stopped by the 77kids by American Eagle t-shirt decorating booth—a station for children, celebrities and their families to design and paint boys and girls t-shirts as part of the brand’s continued support of the fight against HIV/AIDS.
Later in the day all of the guests at the carnival were treated to a surprise performance by the star of Nickelodeon’s True Jackson VP, Ashley Argota.
We love a model that doesn’t let an upcoming runway show get in the way of supporting a great cause! —Renee Lucas
