We’re contemplating sending a hand-written thank you note to the fine publishers over at Rizzoli for this soon-to-be released fashion tome that we’re already pre-ordering on Amazon today! Set for release in November, Kate: The Kate Moss Book will be the ultimate homage to the fashion icon and her extensive modeling career that’s continued for nearly 20 years, and from start to finish, we’re prepared to be blown away!
The book is said to have its personal touches with Kate adding her keen aesthetic to the volume, ‘personally selecting the images she wanted to be included in order to create a publication that “spans the entirety of her unparalleled career, from model to fashion designer, to must to icon,”‘ reports Telegraph.
Kate’s ex, Jefferson Hack, editor of Dazed and Confused and father to her daughter Lila, is also said to have edited the book along with Jess Hallett, a close friend and casting director.
In addition to some early snapshots taken by Corinna Day for The Face in 1990, the collection of photos will include those taken by Hedi Slimane, Jurgen Teller, Terry Richardson, Mario Testino, and Karl Lagerfeld. Kate: The Kate Moss Book will be available November 6, 2012 and sold for $85.
