When we heard the news that Kate Moss and Sir Philip Green plan to alter the supermodel’s regular collections for Topshop, we were a little sad.
But amidst the paring back of her designs, there’s a hidden silver fashion lining. Kate’s still going to be designing capsule collections amounting to 12-15 pieces a few times a year, and Topshop’s planning a little something extra to celebrate her fashion sensibility.
Season after season, there are a few highly covetable pieces - obviously the pieces that Kate personally wears - which are impossible to purchase because everyone’s desperate to snatch up a bit of the supermodel’s personal style. Clearly Topshop’s realized this and with their farewell to Kate’s regular collections, comes a revival of her most favored pieces from the first collection, as well as “special, numbered pieces.” We reminisced on the vast items she designed for Topshop and come up with our wish list.
