Like most of the fashion industry, Modelinia has been anxiously awaiting the arrival of Kate Moss‘ September Vogue cover ever since the moment it was announced.
And now it’s finally here!
For the September 2011 cover of Vogue, Kate posed for Mario Testino, wearing an Alexander McQueen dress from the Fall 11 collection. Inside, the glossy provides a first real look into the super’s stunning wedding day, including snaps of her flower girls and bridesmaids, a woodsy portrait of Kate and her new husband, and party pics. Thanks to the photographic brilliance of Mario, we’re afforded an insider peek at Kate and Jamie’s lovely wedding day, and with the talented writing of Hamish Bowles, we almost feel as though we were there. The journalist brings us back into time, beginning with the moment he met Kate and with details and stories, leads up to her moment walking down the aisle. Adorable tidbits create the tale, including the fact that Kate finally agreed to marriage over an episode of Big Fat Gypsy Weddings, that her wedding date changed to accomodate Mario’s schedule, and that Kate used GG as in Great Gatsby as her code name for the big day!
