Masterful duo Kate Moss and Mario Testino were spotted in Ipanema, Brazil back in the middle of February, shooting the anniversary issue ofVogue Brazil. Though originally Kate assumed the shoot would be slightly more relaxed than it was, Mario turned the experience into a huge production, working late into the day. “We worked the whole time,” Kate said. “We shot 60 pages for the magazine. It was a lot. I had Lila with me and I thought it would be more of a holiday, Mario usually finishes quite early, but not this time.” But when you’re creating an anniversary issue with a supermodel, anything less than perfection clearly is not acceptable - regardless of the hours.
And now we have a first look at their hard work! Kate takes the cover of Vogue Brazil in her birthday suit, showing off a rarely seen set of tattoos, while wearing nothing but Wonder Woman-esque bracelets. Soft curls from her face, a different look for Moss, though her eyes are rimmed in the signature black liner that we’ve come to know and love and strive to replicate.
