For Emilio Pucci’s first campaign go-around, the Italian luxury label made sure to cover its bases by turning to model-actress Amber Valletta for the inaugural Fall/Winter 2012-13 advertising campaign.
Shot by longtime fashion duo Mert Alas and Marcus Piggott, Amber was the featured muse set among the lavish Renaissance-era set inspired by Palazzo Pucci, the maison’s Florentine headquarters.
Decked out in the brand’s signature geometric prints and swirling colors, Amber put her classic features to good use, creating a “sultry, sophisticated, yet slightly subversive theme,” falling perfectly in line with Pucci’s ornate sense of style.
In a press release, the model-actress was described as, “a natural choice for Pucci. An iconic face in fashion, she embodies the Pucci Woman, exuding a stylish self-assurance.”
The campaign is set to hit newsstands in the September issues of select fashion publications in the US, France, and Italy, and will continue to expand into new markets in the coming year- meaning more Pucci coming your way!
