Lara Stone’s career is about to become even more major, because the newly married model has been confirmed to work exclusively with Calvin Klein, as the face of three different campaigns - Calvin Klein Collection, ck Calvin Klein, and Calvin Klein Jeans for fall!
Though she’s already made a huge name for herself in the industry, this campaign news will surely catapult Lara to super status. Just take a look at the supermodels that Calvin Klein has chosen to work with in previous years: an impressive trio including Christy Turlington, Kate Moss, and Natalia Vodianova.
Despite the brand’s previous model stars, this is the first time that CK picked the same model for all three different brands, showing their faith and determination in Lara. “I conceived my fall 2010 collection with a self-aware and assured woman in mind,” Francisco Costa said. “For me, Lara was the perfect choice for the new campaign because she is a woman who epitomizes confidence and sensuality.”
For the Calvin Klein campaign, Lara is joined by Abbey Lee Kershaw while Edita Vilkeviciute and Kendra Spears pose alongside the model for the white label. Ever gracious and appreciative, Lara said, “I have a long history with the Calvin Klein brand, and so it was wonderful to work with the house again this year. It’s like being part of a family.”
Also - you can bet you’ll see Lara on the runway for Calvin Klein come fall, but given the deal’s exclusivity, she’ll only be walking for the brand.
