Congratulations are in order for Lara Stone, who just won Model of the Year at the British Fashion Awards!
Honestly, though the win should come as no shock considering the year Lara had. In addition to getting married, she continued to surpass her already impressive modeling career with countless jobs, landed the role as the face of Calvin Klein, and appeared on the cover of French Vogue’s 90th anniversary issue. She’s served as an impressively outspoken model who stands up for not only what she believes in, but also her own rights - by opening up to Vogue about curves and suing (and winning) a case against French Playboy.
Congrats Lara - the award is well deserved!
