As a continuation of his 40th anniversary, Roberto Cavalli moved the party to Paris and threw a massive blowout fest to celebrate with close friends and fashion insiders. The École des Beaux-Arts in Paris was completely transformed into a lounge like environment, complete with a stage fit for Kylie Minogue’s performance and the requisite sea of leopard. Images from Mert & Marcus decorated the space, along with a look into the archives of Cavalli designs.
Inside, Tyra Banks and Heidi Klum were chit-chatting and catching up while Natalia Vodianova and Eva Herzigova boasted their baby pictures, as models like Elettra Wiedemann, Bar Refaeli, Anja Rubik, Karlie Kloss, Lily Donaldson, Naomi Campbell, Sasha Pivovarova, Yasmin Le Bon, Karolina Kurkova, and Hilary Rhoda filled the space, which was packed with well-wishers and Cavalli’s friends.
But 40 years of business wasn’t the only reason to raise a glass. The legendary designer was also celebrating his 70th birthday, and with the little help from Heidi - who presented him with a four tiered suprise birthday cake - Roberto blew out the candles and surely wished for another 40 years.
