Like A Rolling Stone: Rock And Roll Style From Topshop

With the world heading to London for the Summer Olympics later this week, we’ve had nothing but British culture on the brain!  These days, our immense desire to find a jestingly British look has led us straight to rock-and-roll royalty, The Rolling Stones, for some much-needed UK style inspiration.  Since they first stepped on the scene in the 1960’s, the British band has had a penchant for velvet, paisley prints, heeled boots, and scarves- all signatures that have even influenced THE British style star herself, Kate Moss.  After marrying Jamie Hince of The Kills, Kate officially become a rock-and-roll wife, but it was her collection of vintage wares, jean shorts, and edgy leather jackets that first caught the attention of rock-and-roll lovers worldwide.  While Kate gets the bulk of her looks straight from designers and vintage stores, she’s also gained a reputation as a long-time fan and collaborator for British High Street retailer, Topshop.  There are plenty of British influenced items to be found at Topshop, including designer collaborations with Christopher Kane and Markus Lupfer, but we’re partial to the plethora of Rolling Stones pieces these days.  If you don’t already own a Chelsea boot, killer plaid pants, or a fun necktie, take a look at our picks and go wild!
