When your mom is a model, it’s only natural that you’d find the same passion for fashion and follow a similar career path. We’ve seen it with Yasmin and Amber Le Bon, Pat and Anna Cleveland, as well as Jerry Hall and Georgia May Jagger.
Now it’s time for more mother-daughter model teams, and the news coming out of the beauty world is very interesting. Christie Brinkley’s daughter Alexa Ray Joel focuses on her music mostly, but she’s just signed on to pose as the face of the Prell shampoo line, a campaign which her mother held about 24 years ago.
But interestingly, this isn’t the only example of a mother passing down the beauty campaign torch to her daughter. Rachel Hunter’s daughter Renee Stewart also signed a hair campaign, for Pantene. And yes, her mom was the face of Pantene back in the early 90s.
